Galina R. Karpel

Galina R. Karpel is a founding member of Karpel & Milman, LLC. Mrs. Karpel received her Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Karpel received her legal education, as well as her Juris Doctor degree, from Depaul University College of Law. During her legal career, Mrs. Karpel worked on a wide range of legal cases, including criminal law, probate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, immigration, civil litigation, as well as creditor’s rights and collection law.

Most recently, Mrs. Karpel worked on hundreds of consumer and business bankruptcy cases, representing both Debtors and Creditors. Mrs. Karpel is licensed in both Illinois State Court and the Federal Court, and has years of experience representing clients in front of the United States Judges in the United States Bankruptcy Court. Several Judicial Opinions from her cases have been published and are available on the United States Bankruptcy Website.

In her free time, Mrs. Karpel loves to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading just about anything and traveling just about anywhere. Mrs. Karpel is fluent in Russian.

Memberships , Associations and Licenses: Mrs. Karpel is a licensed Illinois real estate broker. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, as well as Realtor Association of the Northwest Chicagoland. She is licensed to practice law in the Illinois State Court, as well as the United States Federal Court.

Polina Milman

Polina Milman is one of the founding members of Karpel & Milman, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. Ms. Milman graduated from DePaul University with a degree of Bachelor of Science. She is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Ms. Milman remained loyal to DePaul by receiving her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Milman gained civil litigation experience by working on many personal injury cases. Ms. Milman also has made a commitment to devote time to pro bono work and dedicates herself to those in need. She is fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish.

Ms. Milman’s professional memberships include the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
